Karakorum by Night

Altantsetseg is a teenage Mongol girl. Her shoulder length hair is braided. Her traditional clothing is dirty and mud-caked. The only exception is a purple Chinese silk scarf around her neck, the only pristine piece of clothing kept in good order.

She is petite and not very impressive physically. But she virtually always is accompanied by her horse, her dog and a golden eagle.
