Retainers

The character creation for human ghouls.
Animal ghouls don't have hard rules, the stats in the bestiary are good first indicator.
Freebies are spent exactly as for PCs.

There are three levels of ghouls:

The typical retainer (stats are about midway between Ghouls:Fatal Addiction and a rank 1 fighter in SF:STG).

Backgrounds | 5 | Domain, Generation, Status are unavailable
Virtues | 7 | starts with 1 in every score

Willpower | 6 (or by martial art) | max 6
Maneuvers | 7
Health Levels | 10
Freebies | 8+Courage
Merits and Flaws should end up around +/-0, maximum of 5 dots both ways


The superior servant (2 dots in Retainers), can also be used for Revenants:

The exceptional Mk-III ghoul. Not quite Subedei or Temujin (such superhumans are even more rare and can only be found in play, not simply bought with dots), but it is enough to be the champion of Karakorum, or a substantial part of Orkhon Valley (1 in 30,000 humans).
Of course such exceptional blood servants raise the greed and envy of the Khan and other powerful Cainites...
